  • "Wow- what Winter wonderland dream! I just finished a long weekend at Chalet Ferneau. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This Chalet allows you to escape to a setting that provides relaxation, coziness and transports you to an elevated lodge that feels like Switzerland or France, despite being in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Right next to a serene river, you can sit in the sauna and heat up looking at the cold snowy banks outside, sit in the hot tub and relax or sit inside by the large fire and read your book in luxurious rustic elegance. All the details of this place have been thoughtfully designed, the aesthetic is exceptional and I appreciate how well-stocked and organized the kitchen was. We made a yummy pot roast in the slow cooker after a day of sledding and playing in the snow and it was one of the best days of the season (the beds are plush and comfortable too). I can't wait to return to this place!"
