Winter in the North Cascades
Winter transforms the surrounding landscape into a peaceful alpine wonderland.
Guests can enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling right out of the neighborhood. Or head to Stevens Pass Ski Resort, just 25 minutes away, for some of the best downhill skiing and snowboarding in Washington.
After a day on the mountain, return to the warmth of the chalet to relax by the fire or soak in the hot tub as snow falls quietly through the trees.
Spring and Summer in Leavenworth
When the snow melts, the region becomes a playground for outdoor adventure.
Guests can explore the world-renowned Enchantments hiking area or hundreds of other alpine trails, spend the day golfing at Kahler Glen Golf Course just six minutes from the chalet, or discover the celebrated granite climbing routes of Icicle Canyon, long considered one of Washington’s premier climbing destinations.
On warm summer days float the Wenatchee River or indulge in some horseback riding through alpine meadows at Lake Wenatchee State Park, offering a beautiful way to experience the surrounding landscape during the summer months.
Autumn is one of the most beautiful times to visit the Leavenworth region. Crisp mountain air and vibrant fall foliage transform the forests as golden larches and colorful alpine landscapes emerge across the North Cascades.
